Moxham Farm scale – low cost – low tech Biochar. It is about time I let this well kept secret of the biochar world out.
The Moxham sprang fourth from the imaginations of those involved with the biocharproject.org over the 2011 – 2012 period when Charmaster Dolph Cooke told the Australian federal government that he can design a low cost farm scale biochar unit that was low tech.
That among other carefully crafted carbon claims saw Biochar Project take out a Grant with the Caring for our country program.
Unloading the Moxham
We knew it was a great idea as it all seemed to fall into place as if we were not even trying. However with much trial and error by using it to create premium biochar from our plantation waste. We were treated to an unexpected surprise….. To be continued as I chase up some photos
