Biochar Industries.
Welcome to the new paradigm.
Biochar Industries is a working 3000 acre natural and plantation forest under the stewardship of char-master Dolph Cooke. Based in Kunghur northern NSW Australia.
Since the old style forestry industry became unsustainable, plantation forests all over Australia have been neglected. Some have been left to fate while others have been completely bulldozed. The ABC show Landline, showcased the forest industry breakdown and revealed the extent of the problem in Australia since the scheme collapsed.
Fortunately Dolph Cooke was able to create a pilot new industry based on the sustainable management of such a wonderful resource.
The main concepts at work here are.
Holistic education. We call this bush mechanics.
Best practice sustainable industry pilot. Forestry and Biochar.
Research and development. Value adding.
Community cooperation. Assets.
Things we have in the pipeline.
Creating open source knowledge base.
Creating open source ecology on a village scale.
Creating jobs for local people.
Creating local cottage industries related to what we do.
Creating alternative energy for a village scale project.
Creating waste management for a village scale project.
Creating low cost accommodation.
Creating environmental solutions.
